  Position Summary

This is a role within the Business Development team to originate high quality project opportunities in the industrial heat market and develop them to a state of maturity sufficient to achieve final investment decisions (FID). You will be a part of a cross-functional team to bring credible, large-scale industrial decarbonization projects to life.  You'll also build your credibility and expertise to help evolve the team from the ground up into a more high-performing, efficient and productive team.  Projects will primarily be US based but may be international as well.



Roles & Responsibilities
  • Originate high-quality decarbonization project opportunities with industrial offtakers.
  • Work with senior team members to develop and propose creative, customer-oriented solutions built on Antora’s thermal energy storage solution.
  • Support the negotiation and securing of commercial off-take agreements, focusing on one of Antora’s core markets of liquid fuels while also supporting opportunities outside of liquid fuels.
  • Manage project-specific development tasks and budgets to progress promising opportunities towards investability.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners and a portfolio of prospective customers.
 Key Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience selling industrial energy applications, with demonstrated experience supporting projects through to final investment decision (FID) or a minimum of 5 years in industrial operations, manufacturing, or engineering.
  • Proven abilities in quantitative problem solving as demonstrated in supporting complex deal structures.
  • Demonstrated expertise within renewable energy markets or industrial thermal applications.
  • Track record of effectively advancing high-quality deals and/or projects and contributing to team targets.
  • Existing or a demonstrated ability to build energy industry relationships across offtakers and project partners (e.g., financiers, utilities, developers).
 Additional Qualifications Desired
  • Experience in the low carbon fuels sector.
  • Experience selling energy decarbonization applications in the Americas.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn various industrial processes.
  • Exposure to or experience contributing to the evolution of development processes.

Work Location:  Remote, US. Bay Area or Midwest preferred. 

Salary Range:  $163,000 USD - $195,000 USD

Salary Basis:  Annual

Please note that the salary range listed above reflects Antora Energy's estimated pay for this position. The actual salary offered will be within the posted range and determined based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experiences, credentials and expertise, as they pertain to the position's requirements.
