This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Originate SBA and related commercial lending opportunities nationwide; achieve/exceed annual production goals.
Build a durable referral ecosystem (brokers, COIs, franchise networks, CPAs, attorneys, bankers).
Develop market penetration plans; run consistent outbound (calls, email, LinkedIn, events).
Qualify, structure, and package loans; submit complete applications and present to Credit Committee.
Manage risk through strong credit fundamentals (financials, cash flow, collateral, guarantors).
Coordinate approvals → commitments → funding with Operations; ensure a smooth borrower experience.
Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and production reporting in Salesforce and bank origination systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years sales experience in financial services with strong SBA production.
Documented $20MM+ annual SBA/CRE/ABL production for each of the past 3 years.
Deep knowledge of SBA 7(a) and 504 programs (eligibility, structure, underwriting, closing).
Solid credit skills: financial statement analysis, DSCR/cash flow, collateral, guaranty structure.
Proven hunter mentality; consistent new-business generation and B2B relationship management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Active referral network preferred; role is fully remote within the U.S. (no travel required).
