Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Location: Remote US

Reports To: VP of Revenue Operations 

Compensation: Base salary $50,000-60,000 and commission, with OTE $80,000

Services include concepting, sourcing, design, packaging, merch collections, company stores, touchpoint gifting, warehousing, fulfillment and distribution.

Technology is part of our DNA. Our proprietary technology gives clients instantaneous access to important information and tools, including real-time inventory data, on-demand fulfillment services and a convenient 3rd party system integrations, such as Slack, Salesforce, Okta and more.

The Role:

The business development arm of Brilliant is responsible for rolling out the red carpet to create a Brilliant first impression for our prospects. You will be responsible for working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to qualify prospects, get them thrilled about partnering with Brilliant, differentiate our offerings, and ultimately driving revenue. We frequently field interest from the most impressive companies in the world, and you will play a key role in showing them why Brilliant is a cut above.

You will communicate Brilliant’s corporate gifting and branded merch platform to companies of all sizes, from 200 employee startups to 10,000+ person global corporations. You’ll partner with individuals who own corporate gifting, often individuals in HR, Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Procurement. This role requires a balance  of generating opportunities, clearly articulating our value proposition, and ensuring we have the proper processes in place.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify new leads via sourcing, cold calling, email campaigns, and events, marketing campaigns to introduce Brilliant’s capabilities
  • Consistently achieve monthly goals for outreach, prospecting, and qualified hand-off’s to the AE team
  • Through thoughtful and engaging outreach, generate high-quality meetings and qualify prospects
  • Turn qualified prospects over to the Account Executive team after conducting qualification calls and identifying challenges Brilliant is uniquely set up to solve
  • Optimize the outbound prospecting motion, with an emphasis on efficiency and technology, to drive qualified opportunities
  • Create and execute plans to nurture prospects that are not ready to purchase and re-engage leads that were previously warm

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success
  • Experience proactively prospecting into mid and large size organizations - 50+ employees
  • Excited to be part of a growing department where you’ll help shape process and procedures 
  • Proven experience using  SaaS technology (SFDC systems, productivity tools and marketing automation tools)
