Job Description:

As a Business Development Representative (Outbound) on our Software Sales team, you will play a vital role in fueling our growth by generating and qualifying leads that expand our market reach. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of leads to support Account Executives and meet team sales goals.

  • Researching and identifying government contractors' pain points and connecting them with PSci.AI's solutions.

  • Utilizing sales tools to find, prospect, and qualify new leads effectively.

  • Conducting outreach via cold calls, emails, and social media to engage potential clients.

  • Scheduling software demonstrations and meetings between qualified leads and Account Executives.

  • Collaborating with the sales and product teams to relay market insights and improve the lead-generation process.

  • Building rapport and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the government contracting space.

Required Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in software/SaaS.

  • Experience with sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach or SalesLoft, and email automation platforms.

  • Strong ability to identify leads, conduct outreach, and qualify opportunities.

  • Exceptional communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.

  • A passion for innovation and delivering customer-focused solutions.

  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a Federal Background Check and Identity Verification.

Desired Experience:
  • Proven experience in sales development or related roles, with a track record of meeting lead-generation goals.

  • Ability to work remotely

  • A driven, resourceful, and proactive approach to identifying opportunities and achieving results.
