Responsible for sourcing enterprise opportunities, running multi-channel prospecting campaigns, and booking qualified sales meetings with senior decision-makers.
The summary above was generated by AI

You'll be a core member of our pipeline generation team, responsible for sourcing enterprise opportunities by engaging the right personas at the right companies and converting cold outreach into qualified sales conversations. This is a hands-on role where you'll run multi-channel prospecting campaigns on a day-to-day basis, reaching decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise manufacturers who sell complex, configurable products through dealers, distributors, or direct sales forces.

Success is measured by the number of meetings booked with qualified enterprise accounts, the pipeline generated, and your ability to advance conversations toward engagement. Message quality, consistent outreach, and follow-through are key expectations for this role.

The successful candidate must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of our Chicago office and be present in the office two days a week. Interested? Apply now!

Who We Are

Threekit is the Channel Sales Platform for Complex Products — a modern configure-to-quote workflow designed for how channel selling actually works. Threekit gives dealers and customers a faster way to select, visualize, configure, and quote complex products, without the rigid structure of traditional CPQ systems. We help manufacturers make complex products easier to buy and sell through the systems they already trust.

What We Value

At Threekit, our core values can be summed up with the acronym GRIT: Getting things done, Revenue, Innovation, and Team. These principles guide our actions and decisions, shaping the way we work and interact with each other and our customers.

At Threekit, GRIT is more than just an acronym -  it is the driving force behind our success and growth.

What You'll Do

  • Run daily outbound prospecting — cold calls via Nooks, email sequences via Meticulate and Apollo, and LinkedIn outreach via Sales Navigator
  • Research and prioritize target accounts — identify U.S. manufacturers with complex products, dealer/distributor sales channels, and existing CPQ or ERP systems
  • Engage senior buyers — reach Director, VP, and C-Level decision-makers, including VP of Digital, VP of Marketing, VP of Sales Operations, and IT Directors
  • Clearly communicate Threekit's value — explain how manufacturers can move from buyer intent to quote in minutes, not days, through guided selling and visual configuration — without replacing their existing tech stack
  • Book qualified discovery meetings — establish fit and earn next steps for the sales team
  • Maintain clean CRM data — keep Salesforce and Apollo updated with all activity, outreach status, and contact/account records
  • Collaborate on strategy — work closely with the Director of BD and the GTM team on targeting, messaging, and campaign execution
  • Participate in team development — join weekly team reviews and call coaching sessions to sharpen skills and meet your goals
  • Provide field feedback — share what you're hearing from prospects to help improve messaging and sequences over time

What Catches Our Eye

  • 1–3 years in outbound sales, business development, SDR, or BDE role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you write concise, outcome-focused outreach, not feature lists
  • Experience running cold call campaigns consistently
    and qualifying prospects through discovery
  • Comfortable engaging Directors and above at enterprise and mid-market companies
  • Manage an active portfolio of accounts independently — prioritize targets, track outreach and follow-ups, and maintain quality across daily campaigns
  • Maintain consistent outbound activity — handle rejection by iterating messaging, applying coaching feedback, and continuing daily outreach

Preferred Skills

  • Experience prospecting into manufacturing, industrial, or building products companies
  • Hands-on experience with Apollo, Nooks, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • B2B SaaS or enterprise technology sales background
  • Experience with channel sales or dealer/distributor selling models

Who You'll Report To

This role will report directly to the Director, Business Development.

What You Can Expect From Threekit

  • A transparent recruitment process that includes an initial Cognitive Assessment, discussions with key stakeholders, and an exercise presentation. Looking to move quickly? So are we!
  • A comprehensive insurance package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
  • Both Equity and RRSPs support your long-term future.
  • An unlimited PTO policy as well as paid holidays so you can relax and recharge when needed.
  • A hybrid work model that allows you to work in a manner that is best for you.
  • A positive culture that embraces employee input.

The successful candidate must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance of our Chicago office and be present in the office two days a week. All candidates outside of the Chicago area will be declined.

*Threekit's salary ranges are determined based on market data for our industry and company size, and take into account work location, skills, experience, and education/certifications.

We use AI-powered tools (such as Metaview, Firefiles.Ai, and ChatGPT) to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process, such as interview note-taking, transcription, and summarization. These tools are used to improve efficiency and consistency. A qualified recruiting professional reviews all AI-generated outputs, and all hiring decisions are made by humans. We do not use AI for selection purposes, but do utilize AI-powered search functions (Metaview/Google) to help identify candidates.
