As a remote Business Development Representative at Zyte, you'll be an essential part of our dynamic sales team, responsible for connecting with potential clients and promoting Zyte’s innovative data extraction solutions. You will utilize your sales expertise and passion for technology to generate new business opportunities from anywhere in the world.

Working closely with Sales Managers, Account Executives, Solutions Architects and our Marketing team, you will lead outbound outreach, manage the sales pipeline and contribute to the growth of our customer base while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate outbound prospecting activities including email, phone calls, social media and networking to generate leads and qualified opportunities.
  • Engage strategically important prospects to create meaningful business opportunities.
  • Leverage strong communication and negotiation skills to secure customer commitment and close deals.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine targeting and optimize outbound campaigns.
  • Effectively forecast pipeline and sales activities to meet revenue goals.
  • Join virtual meetings, webinars, and occasionally attend industry events when possible.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of outbound sales experience, preferably in a remote environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales methodology.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Interest or experience in data extraction, web scraping, or SaaS sales is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, distributed teams.
  • Comfortable using digital communication and collaboration tools.
