The Business Development Representative will be responsible for procuring warm leads for the outside sales team. This entails identifying the targets where R1’s technology enabled services have the highest likelihood for success within the United States or aligned territories of assigned outside sales professionals.

*This role has an average base pay of $115K-$120K with additional target bonus/spiff compensation of $12-$20K*  

In this role, the successful candidate will work directly with his/her outside counterparts to strategize the most effective way to gain access to decision makers, how to nurture prospective clients to next steps in the partnership process and remain actively engaged during the sales process to help increase the win rate for R1. The Senior Business Development Representative will be responsible for establishing a regular cadence with all appropriate internal parties.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a large volume of B2B prospecting by telephone and email, simultaneously responding to assigned inbound inquiries and conducting outbound campaigns
• Effectively build and manage a lead generation pipeline, achieving weekly meeting goal targets
• Execute lead generating strategies specific to assigned channels (e.g., specific partner types, industries, or regions)
• Build strong relationships with Sales and Operational leaders further understanding the needs across the region with respect to customer targets
• Leverage database tools for discovery, research and initiation of outbound calling campaigns to new prospective customers
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Experience with lead generation experience in B2B field

• Excellent prospecting, discovery and research skills
• Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Direct experience with CRM application(s), such as Salesforce.com
• Proficient in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), LinkedIn and other relevant social media outlets
• Ability to travel – 25%
• Organized & Open to learning and thinking outside the box
• Must have access to high-speed internet

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $66,185.60 - $114,114.48 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
