We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities as an essential member of the enterprise sales team. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, conducting outreach, securing new meetings and coordinating follow up.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

  • Identify and research potential clients, specifically targeting corporate treasuries, prime brokerage, investment banks, commercial banks and/or regional banks

  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and social media to engage prospects and develop new relationships within the sales side of these institutions

  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings, focusing on high-value opportunities

  • Manage follow up conversations with prospects; marshall appropriate team members and resources to close new business

  • Collaborate with team members to develop effective sales strategies tailored to the financial services sector

  • Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in the CRM

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and the evolving needs of financial institutions through networking, events and media channels

  • Provide regular updates on lead generation efforts and outcomes to management

What We Look For In You (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field

  • 3-5+ years of experience in sales or business development, particularly within the financial services industry

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experience maintaining CRM data integrity

Nice To Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience meeting and exceeding quotas in sales trading or enterprise fintech sales

  • Knowledge of Bitcoin and blockchain technology

  • Strong networking skills and experience building relationships with decision makers
