Our mission is to use our creative genius to transform an organization's most important ideas into bold drawings that people understand, remember, and act on. Our vision is that important ideas reach their full potential through the power of drawing. The team behind that work is a mix of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and a fair amount of weirdness and compassion, too. We're deliberate about who we bring in, so if your values align with ours, you can get behind our mission, and if you love to create awesome work, we are looking for you.
We are a values-based organization.
Our team creates collective goals to achieve based on our three core values: create awesome work, value each team member, and have fun!
Business Development Representative Summary:
We are looking for someone who is organized, persistent, and genuinely energized by making connections. This role is the front door of our business -- the first impression a potential client gets of Ink Factory. You will be the first person they hear from, and you will also be the one who reaches out to past clients to re-engage them for projects. Your job is to make sure no lead goes cold, our network is fully tapped for opportunities, and the sales team (along with their own efforts) has enough appointments to meet their quotas.
We are a visual communication studio working with Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and everyone in between. You do not need to know our industry coming in, but you do need to be curious about it and quick to learn.
In-studio is preferred, but blended and remote are available to the right candidate. If in-studio, please be aware that some people bring their friendly pups to the office.
What you will do:
- Respond quickly to all incoming inquiries
- Qualify leads and facilitate meetings with the appropriate team member
- Reach out proactively to past clients, dig into our working history, and bring them back into active conversations
- Set meetings for our sales team on both new and existing opportunities
- Keep the CRM and pipeline details accurate and up to date
- Earn commission on meetings set and on deals that close from those meetings
- Contribute energy and enthusiasm to the overall success of Ink Factory
What we are looking for:
- Relevant experience in sales development, inside sales, or a similar role
- Someone who follows up without being asked and does not let things sit
- Comfortable on the phone and in written communication
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Motivated by output that is directly tied to what you earn
- Collaborative, reliable, and professional
- Open and excited about learning new skills
- Enthusiasm for our company's values
- Fun! We want you to bring your unique self to work.

- Commission on meetings set and closed deals
- Quarterly bonuses based on company performance
