The Business Insights Manager is a critical link between our Retail Sales, Customer Team, and Canada Sales, leveraging data to fuel business growth. This role supports all Sales teams and provides essential data support to Commercial Finance. The manager must maintain strong connections with both Sales and Finance to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Responsibilities include providing technical and business knowledge support for projects and requests, coordinating the design, production, and implementation of reporting, analytics, and presentations, and overseeing our 3rd party team, Accenture, to guarantee data accuracy and timeliness. As a Sales operations Subject Matter Expert, the manager aligns the Sales Business Insight team's objectives with the organization's sales strategy and is accountable for the team's overall strategy, development, and performance.
Main Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development:
1. Lead the STAR Insights Team, providing direction, mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.
2. Develop direct reports through talent assessment, constructive feedback, and actionable development plan.
Strategic Alignment & Contribution:
1. Understand and actively contribute to the overall organizational strategy, ensuring team goals align with broader business objectives.
2. Establish the team's strategic direction, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing plans to capitalize on them.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
1. Collaborate effectively with leaders and stakeholders across Retail, Customer Business Teams, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of sales reporting and initiatives.
2. Provide the Reporting Team with business knowledge leadership, particularly regarding organizational strategy, structure, practices, and relevant data sources.
Customer Engagement & Satisfaction:
1. Ensure high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction, both internally and externally.
2. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with a diverse customer base across all key accounts.
Operational Excellence & Guidance:
1.Provide clear direction and guidance to the team, empowering them to achieve individual and collective goals.
2. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and reporting accuracy.

What you need to know about this position:
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing a team of analysts or similar professionals.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Proficient in data visualization and analysis tools, including Power BI, Power Query, MS Excel (advanced proficiency required), SPARK, and SAP.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to identify key business opportunities from complex datasets.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales processes and reporting requirements within the CPG industry.
- Proven ability to manage change effectively and implement new processes or technologies.
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Job specific requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, directly supporting Sales or Marketing teams.
Travel requirements:
- Less than 10%
Salary:
- The base salary range for this position is $95,100 to $130,800; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results
