The Worldwide Sales Effectiveness & Enablement organization leads the strategy, development, and delivery of sales tools and processes to enable an efficient, effective selling organization. This group is responsible for the everyday tools our sellers use to drive Sales Growth. Our mission is to deliver the best set of tools, data, and processes to enable a simple seller experience.
Job Description

The Business Operations Manager role is responsible for the global design and deployment of Oracle CPQ while serving as the primary lead for identifying and resolving major operational roadblocks. You will be tasked with documenting "as-is" processes to uncover pain points, gaining cross-functional alignment on solutions, and managing the entire lifecycle of CPQ initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of projects within Oracle CPQ, from initial discovery and requirement gathering to successful production deployment.

  • Act as a subject matter expert to resolve complex operational and technical issues. Partner with cross functional stakeholders to solve urgent "pain points" within the user experience.

  • Gather business requirements and develop/document new business processes as part of design activities. Translate these insights into clear, actionable user stories and requirements.

  • Foster collaborative relationships and build consensus across diverse teams including Sales, Product, Finance, and IT

  • Develop business readiness plans, including change management and communication, to ensure smooth adoption of new functionalities.

  • Oversee the development of test scenarios and scripts, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system usability and stability.

Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

  • Understanding of Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), Salesforce CRM, and ERP systems. Tableau experience is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools, particularly Jira.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work under short deadlines.

Target Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions' values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Sales Operations, Program Managing, Consulting, or Project Management
