Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will serve as the integration point across Sales, Business Development, and Brand for the Convenience and Non-Traditional Outlet channel. You will lead annual plan management for our portfolio of brands, develop prioritized sales goals, selling information, and strategic programs, and translate these into actionable plans for field sales execution. You will connect customer and brand strategies to achieve accelerated growth plans and establish collaborative relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal partners.

 

Your Impact:

  • Manage brand-specific strategy to ensure delivery of annual volume, trade, and profit plans (nationally, channel-specific, Joint Business Planning) and lead regular forecast reviews to ensure timely and accurate updates.
  • Represent the customer point of view internally, securing alignment on efforts to succeed with customers while accomplishing Brand strategies. Provide the voice of the customer to Brand teams and integrate Brand strategies into customer business plans.
  • Manage brand-specific agendas and project prioritization. Assist in developing customer-level distribution and merchandising targets supported by insights and activation plans for each initiative. Partner with Field Sales to achieve merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving (MAPS) goals.
  • Activate insights-oriented strategies (e.g., category, shopper) at national and customer-specific levels. Develop category growth goals, compelling sales materials, and new item presentations, and occasionally influence customers during sales calls. Analyze and summarize program results, recommend adjustments, and implement improvements.
  • Serve as liaison between customer sales and Business Development/Brand teams to implement Joint Business Planning (JBP) customer plans. Provide Brand teams ongoing visibility to JBP plans through a common process, including prioritization of customer-specific requests.
  • Collaborate with Retail Innovation on development, forecasting, and commercialization of merchandising solutions.
  • Monitor Brand trends at the account level and intervene when performance requires attention.

Your Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sales; convenience channel experience.
  • Strong financial skills, including experience managing trade plans and exposure to P&L management.
  • Knowledge of trade spending principles and retailer practices.
  • Experience with customer annual planning processes.
  • Proficiency in insights and analytics.
  • Microsoft Suite skills.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
