The Business Process Operations Analyst develops operational strategies to mitigate risk, ensures compliance, reviews policies, analyzes processes, and supports improvements.
Develop policies and implement program objectives and operational strategies that mitigate risk, and achieve operational efficiencies following internal department processes. Work across different levels of management and personnel to identify risks of non-compliance, communicate potential and confirmed issues with leadership and enhance the member experience.

Essential Responsibilities
- Review written policies for accuracy, risk base, targeting reviews to assess specific business areas, products, and services at the credit union or third parties
- Set policy requirements regarding the management of activities and procedures related to operational functions
- Conduct business process walkthroughs, document key controls, and identify process gaps and control opportunities
- Analyze and escalate potential findings to determine whether exceptions exist and determine the level of risk associated with the finding
- Lead meetings with the business to ensure adequate and appropriate action plans are in place to remediate and track progress
- Gather the status of action items, and provide updated, detailed and organized information
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of practices and procedures. Conduct qualitative analysis and review to identify issues and trends related to operations processes. Support process improvements and related project efforts
- Collect data, perform root cause analysis of issues and problems and propose solutions according to current and future business needs.
- Create the right cadence of reviews, and provide ongoing reporting
Education & Years of Experience
- Minimum - High School or Equivalent
- Preferred - 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Related
- Minimum - Operations, contact center or related
Compensation & Benefits:
Typical hiring range: $52,300.00 to $81,300.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
