As a Business Transformation Program Director, you will lead and oversee large-scale transformation initiatives across PTC departments with an emphasis on the organization’s quote to cash business platforms. PTC is on a multi-year journey to build an outstanding subscription experience that promotes customer self-service, expands data intelligence, and eases operational pain. You will have a unique ability to affect change very early in your tenure with PTC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the overall transformation strategy, influencing alignment to a vision for a modern employee and customer experience.
  • Reinforce vision with clear initiative objectives, scope priorities, and delivery sequencing, including establishing deal-breakers or non-negotiables for success.
  • Build and assemble the appropriate stakeholders to complete initiatives according to plan, budget, quality and business value achievement.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, or engagement sessions to surface desired change for employees and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop operational efficiencies and enhance customer experience.
  • Oversee change strategies and plans that prepare both employees and customers for upcoming transitions.
  • Engage stakeholders to align on rollout or adoption approach, change planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and change adoption.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Success Metrics:

  • On-time, on-budget delivery of transformation programs.
  • Achievement of strategic objectives such as cost savings, efficiency gains, or improved customer satisfaction.
  • High adoption rates of new processes and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management, ideally in digital transformation and system enablement.
  • Background in software or technology-driven organizations.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledgeable in change management planning for digital transformation initiatives focused on both system upgrades and process optimization.
  • Strong collaborator with experience aligning impact messaging with senior leaders, program teams, and change management partners.
  • Excellent communication skills — capable of simplifying complex topics and tailoring messaging across stakeholder groups.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, matrixed environments and able to prioritize and pivot as initiative needs evolve.

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $130,000 – $160,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location and may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of PTC’s benefits programs, employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave policies, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and a generous commuter subsidy.

At PTC, we believe in the power of diverse ideas and perspectives. As a global company that values and respects all identities, cultures, and perspectives, we strive to create an inclusive PTC for ALL through an environment where everyone feels like they belong and are empowered to bring their true, authentic selves to work. Life at PTC is about more than working with today’s most cutting-edge technologies to transform the physical world. It’s about showing up as you are and working alongside some of today’s most talented industry leaders to transform the world around you.

If you share our passion for problem-solving through innovation, you’ll likely become just as passionate about the PTC experience as we are. Are you ready to explore your next career move with us?
