About the Role
We're looking for a Case Manager to join our growing team at Lighthouse. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their immigration journey, helping ensure cases move efficiently from intake through filing and beyond.
You will work closely with customers, attorneys, employers, and internal teams to coordinate case preparation, manage timelines, collect documentation, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing proactive communication and exceptional service throughout their immigration journey.
Manage a high-volume portfolio of employment-based immigration matters, ensuring cases progress accurately and on schedule.
Coordinate document collection, case preparation, filing milestones, and stakeholder communications across customers, employers, attorneys, and internal paralegal team.
Gather and organize information regarding customers' immigration histories, employment situations, travel plans, and long-term goals to support attorney-led case planning.
Recognize potential case issues, documentation gaps, travel considerations, or timing concerns and escalate them appropriately for legal review.
Maintain accurate case records and leverage technology and AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer outcomes.
Contribute to process improvements and operational initiatives as Lighthouse continues to scale.
You Might Be a Good Fit If
You have 3+ years of experience as an immigration case manager, senior paralegal, immigration specialist, or global mobility professional supporting employment-based immigration matters.
You have strong familiarity with employment-based immigration processes, including H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, L-1, PERM, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, and Adjustment of Status.
You have experience managing a high-volume caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and customer service.
You are comfortable reviewing complex immigration records, gathering relevant information, and coordinating with attorneys to support case strategy and planning.
You understand common immigration process considerations related to travel, work authorization, status maintenance, and filing timelines, and know when issues should be escalated for legal review.
You are highly organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities across dozens of concurrent matters.
You are excited about leveraging AI and technology to transform legal services and improve customer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting startup and venture-backed technology companies.
Experience in a customer-facing immigration or global mobility role.
Experience managing 75+ active employment-based immigration matters simultaneously.
Experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced professional services environment.
