Job Description

• Work closely with Functional Designer to ensure a good understanding of the intended Design / Future State Bus Prc 

• Author Technical Design deliverables. As much development will be done off- shore, Tech Specs need to be at a pretty low level of detail. 

• Support developers (on or off- shore) in their development efforts to ensure development results are consistent with design expecations 

• Conduct code-walk-throughs, which includes review and approval of Unit Test Results. Ensure that coding standards have been followed. 

• Ability to do hands-on development would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Broad functional knowledge of CC&B with at least 1-2 core functional areas (Billing, Payments, Credit & Collection, Field)

• Strong technical skills with hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities CC&B 2.4, with base configuration depth.

• Experience assessing requirements against an existing customized CCB implementation to formulate designs for a consolidated end state.

• Proven experience authoring Technical Designs, using a variey of CCB technologies and mentoring Developers 

• Fluent in OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework)

• Fluent in the CCB data model with strong SQL skills & relational database knowledge

• Strong technical knowledge of at least 2 of the 3 CCB technologies commonly used: Micro-Focus Cobol, Java/HQL and CCB Configuration Tools (Scripting (BS, SS), portals, UI maps, Zones).

• Preferred experience with XAI Web Services, Oracle 12c Triggers and Store Procedures.

• Might be requested to be an “Off-Shore Liaison” which includes: 

o Be a single point of contact to support off-shore development

o Ensure off-shore developer understand a given Technical Design

o Support / assist off-shore developers which may include general Q&A, may include Account Selection, may include resolution of technical challenges – in code or in DEV environments
