Own strategy and execution for paid search and affiliate marketing across Google and Microsoft Ads and affiliate partners. Our client is a growth stage technology and data-driven commercial insurance wholesaler backed by a leading private equity firm. They are combining the worlds of insurance and technology to create an insurtech powerhouse, and are undergoing rapid digital transformation. Their Digital Marketing team is currently seeking a Channel Manager to own two critical growth channels: Paid Search and Affiliate Marketing.
You will own channel strategy, optimization, partner performance, and growth initiatives across multiple business lines. The role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to directly influence revenue growth through measurable acquisition programs.

Compensation: $95,000-105,000 base + 10% bonus + full benefits (see below)
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute paid search strategies across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Manage campaign structure, bidding strategies, budget allocation, keyword expansion, match type governance, and quality score optimization.
- Oversee affiliate and aggregator partnerships, including performance management, relationship development, partner expansion, and commercial negotiations.
- Evaluate channel performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, conversion rates, and revenue contribution.
- Design and execute channel tests, including bidding experiments, landing page optimization initiatives, audience segmentation strategies, and partner placement testing.
- Monitor campaign health and identify anomalies across key performance indicators including conversion rate, acquisition cost, impression share, lead quality, and attribution.
- Partner closely with analytics teams to ensure tracking accuracy and data integrity.
- Produce monthly and quarterly channel performance reviews, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to optimize messaging, landing pages, and channel-specific assets.
- Contribute to broader acquisition planning and channel diversification initiatives.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of performance marketing experience with hand-on ownership managing both paid search and affiliate or aggregator channel management.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Experience managing affiliate marketing programs, partnerships, or lead generation channels.
- Experience working with affiliate, partnership, referral, or aggregator-based acquisition channels. Familiarity with affiliate platforms such as Impact, Commission Junction, or similar.
- Experience with value-based bidding strategies, including target ROAS and target CPA models.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to diagnose performance trends across campaigns and channels.
- Experience using Google Analytics, GA4, or similar analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Looker is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and business priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with multi-brand acquisition.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, fintech, lead-generation businesses, or other high-CPC industries is preferred.
