Position Summary
The Chief of Staff serves as a trusted strategic advisor and operational partner to the Chief Executive Officer, helping maximize executive effectiveness while accelerating execution of Mosaic Health’s highest-priority strategic initiatives.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving enterprise coordination, executive operating cadence, strategic execution, transformation initiatives, and executive communications across the organization. Acting as an extension of executive leadership, the Chief of Staff ensures priorities are translated into action, cross-functional teams remain aligned, and critical initiatives are executed with discipline and urgency.
The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment and possess the judgment, business acumen, and influence required to work effectively across executive leadership, Board members, business unit leaders, and external stakeholders. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable shaping strategy, solving complex operational challenges, and driving flawless execution.

What You’ll Do

Executive Office Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and operational extension of the CEO, ensuring executive focus remains on the organization’s highest-value priorities.
  • Manage executive priorities by coordinating decisions, tracking commitments, and ensuring timely execution of follow-up actions.
  • Anticipate leadership needs and proactively resolve issues before they require executive intervention.
  • Prepare the CEO for Board meetings, sponsor interactions, customer meetings, investor discussions, and other strategic engagements.
  • Continuously improve executive workflows by identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and technology to increase productivity.

Executive Leadership Team Effectiveness

  • Own and continuously improve the Executive Leadership Team’s operating cadence.
  • Develop executive meeting agendas, pre-read materials, action logs, decision trackers, and governance processes.
  • Ensure accountability for enterprise commitments through disciplined follow-up and progress tracking.
  • Connect priorities across business units and corporate functions to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
  • Foster collaboration across the executive team while promoting transparency, alignment, and shared accountability.

Strategy Execution & Enterprise Initiatives

  • Translate executive priorities into actionable workplans with defined milestones, owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that span multiple business units or lack a natural organizational owner.
  • Partner with senior leaders to remove execution barriers and accelerate enterprise priorities.
  • Develop executive dashboards and progress reports that provide visibility into strategic initiatives and organizational performance.
  • Support annual strategic planning and enterprise prioritization activities.

Enterprise Transformation

  • Coordinate enterprise transformation initiatives in partnership with executive leadership.
  • Maintain executive project plans, governance documentation, milestone tracking, dependency management, and decision logs.
  • Support organizational redesign, business integration, and enterprise change management initiatives.
  • Ensure transformation efforts remain aligned with Mosaic Health’s strategic objectives and value creation plan.

Executive Communications & Board Support

  • Develop polished executive presentations, Board materials, sponsor updates, and strategic communications.
  • Improve the quality, clarity, and effectiveness of executive messaging across internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate responses to Board members, investors, and private equity sponsors.
  • Ensure executives are equipped with high-quality materials that enable informed decision-making and effective stakeholder engagement.

Organizational Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with executives, business leaders, and functional teams across Mosaic Health.
  • Influence without formal authority through credibility, collaboration, and exceptional follow-through.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a connector across the organization, helping leaders navigate complex issues and align around shared priorities.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Eight or more years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, private equity, corporate development, investment banking, healthcare operations, or a Chief of Staff role supporting senior executives.
  • Experience working directly with a CEO or executive leadership team in a complex, high-growth organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation development.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to improve business processes and executive productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within healthcare services, value-based care, managed care, provider organizations, or healthcare technology.
  • Experience working in a private equity-backed organization.
  • Familiarity with Board governance, investor communications, and sponsor reporting.
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, organizational integration, or enterprise transformation initiatives.

  • Deliver Board materials, executive presentations, and strategic communications that consistently require minimal executive revision.
  • Successfully coordinate enterprise strategic initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Strengthen accountability across executive workstreams through transparent governance and follow-through.
  • Improve cross-functional collaboration and visibility into enterprise priorities.
  • Implement AI-enabled workflows that enhance executive productivity and organizational efficiency.
  • Become a trusted advisor to executive leadership, Board members, and private equity sponsors through thoughtful judgment, credibility, and flawless execution.

Compensation Range:

$124,681.00

to

$187,022.00

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
