What You’ll Do

As a Client Account Associate, you will work closely with a Client Portfolio Manager and a small, dedicated team to support and help manage a group of clients. You will
handle day to day bookkeeping tasks, communicate directly with clients on assigned items, and help ensure work is accurate, timely, and consistent. You will collaborate with your teammates daily to stay aligned on priorities, flag issues early, and keep clients on track. Your work plays a direct role in delivering a smooth and reliable client experience.

The Role
Some companies might refer to this position as an Accountant, but at Supporting Strategies, the Client Account Associate title reflects the broader responsibility of the role. Client Account Associates provide hands on accounting and bookkeeping support while working closely with a Portfolio Manager and teammates to deliver high quality service to a portfolio of clients. This role combines technical accuracy with strong communication, teamwork, and problem solving. You are not required to be a Certified Public Accountant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.
  • At least five (5) years’ practical bookkeeping/accounting experience required.
  • Experience using QuickBooks and/or similar cloud-based accounting software for/in a
    professional organization
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
