Company Description

Farther is a rapidly growing RIA that combines expert advisors with cutting-edge technology - delivering a comprehensive, tailored wealth management experience.

Farther’s founders are leaders and innovators from the private wealth industry who possess a unique blend of traditional wealth management, fintech, and technology production expertise. We’re backed by top-tier venture capital firms, fintech investors, and industry leaders.

The Role

You'll be the right hand to a Managing Director, Wealth Advisor on Farther's Focus Team who works with Fortune 500 professionals. You run the day-to-day of the practice, so clients feel looked after and your advisor can focus on advice and growth.

This is a licensed seat with real ownership. You'll run the day-to-day practice, client engagements, and the end-to-end follow-up process, including client follow-up and routing of action items and tasks to appropriate teams.

Your Impact

  • Be the first stop for client requests, from money movement and distributions to account changes, and escalate only what needs the advisor
  • Own the meeting rhythm: prep across our CRM, Black Diamond, and the Farther app, log notes, and route follow-ups
  • Run weekly account reviews, trading and cash checks, asset transfers, RMDs, and Roth conversions
  • Keep relationships warm with touchpoint tracking, quarterly review materials, and timely follow-up on referrals and prospects
  • Manage the practice behind the scenes: client events, budget, and COI relationships

The Ideal Match

  • Active Series 65 (or equivalent) license
  • Several years in wealth management, RIA operations, or advisor support, ideally with high-net-worth clients
  • Comfortable with portfolio and CRM tools like Black Diamond and HubSpot
  • Sound judgment, a sharp eye for detail, and a warm, clear voice on the phone and in writing

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with equity compensation and corporate benefits
  • Experience with financial planning concepts for high net worth individuals including investment strategy, tax optimization, retirement planning, estate etc.
  • Client/prospect business development experience including events, gifting, sales calls, etc.
  • Series 7 or 63, or CFP coursework

Why Join Us

  • Competitive comp package that rewards impact
  • Work alongside some of the brightest minds in fintech
  • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-scaling startup
  • Chart your own growth path as we expand
  • Full health benefits + 401(k) matching & Roth IRA options
