Your Role

As Summer’s Client Success Manager (CSM), you will build and nurture strategic, long-term relationships with B2B SaaS clients—overseeing implementation, driving user adoption, and identifying opportunities for revenue growth. In this high-impact, client-facing role, you’ll act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration, engagement, and success.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong client relationships, aligning their goals with Summer’s solutions.
  • Advocate for clients by translating feedback and challenges to product enhancements or operational improvements.
  • Optimize the onboarding and implementation process for new clients, including employers and financial institutions.
  • Manage and prioritize client needs, ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
  • Drive user engagement and adoption through strategic conversion initiatives.
  • Support client retention and growth by identifying and advancing renewal, upsell, and expansion opportunities alongside the sales team.
  • Showcase client success stories through marketing and content collaborations.
  • Occasionally travel based on client needs.

Recommended Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or client success, ideally with enterprise clients, in B2B2C SaaS or financial services.
  • Proven leader in building efficient systems, managing client relationships from implementation to renewal, and driving measurable results.
  • Strategic and empathetic communicator, skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and navigating complex discussions with executive stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and resourceful, staying calm under pressure while leading high-impact projects.
  • Revenue-focused, with a track record of driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Relationship-driven professional, bringing warmth, professionalism, and maturity to internal and external interactions.
  • Passionate about growth, scaling a mission-driven brand, and fostering client champions as advocates and references.

Bonus Points for Experience With:

  • HR tech, information systems, and teams
  • Financial wellness, benefits, or student loans
  • SaaS onboarding and implementation

We are excited to work with teammates who are passionate about applying their talents in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue of our time.

This posting is for a remote, full-time, non-exempt position based in the United States. The base salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 and will include equity and a full range of benefits.
