Description:
PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Architect, you will take a leadership role in overseeing a team responsible for planning, configuring, migrating, and enhancing the MEDCHART system within the Government-selected Cloud hosting facility.
Open Positions: 1
Required Clearance: Secret w/ability to obtain TS.
Required Education: Bachelor’ s Degree in relevant field.
Required Experience: Eight+ (8+) years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute comprehensive cloud strategies for the MEDCHART system, aligned with Government objectives.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
· Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions based on best practices and industry standards.
· Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud applications.
· Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies to meet project and organizational requirements.
· Develop and execute migration plans for the MEDCHART system to the Government-selected Cloud hosting facility.
· Implement robust security measures and compliance controls in cloud architectures.
· Collaborate with software developers to ensure applications are optimized for cloud environments.
Requirements:
· Develop cost models and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-effectiveness.
· Implement strategies for monitoring and managing cloud expenses.
· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes.
· Ensure documentation is accessible to relevant stakeholders.
· Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
· Expertise in cloud architecture design, including networking, security, and scalability.
· Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect

· Security+
· HIPPA
