Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for the creation and revision of CNC programs, complete with tool, fixture, and set-up requirements, while adhering to Quality requirements and workmanship standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
  • Work with tooling suppliers to stay on the cutting edge of process and efficiency
  • Develop tool test programs and implementation plans for improved manufacturing processes
  • Develop ability to utilize software as necessary to facilitate the creation and management of Manufacturing Plans and machine programming
  • Managing and maintaining program distribution to the shop floor per company policy.
  • Work closely with QA department to develop operation and 1st piece inspection points and documentation
  • Other projects as assigned
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers

Requirements

REQUIRED

  • High school degree or GED
  • Minimum of 10 years of CNC programming experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Experience with Mastercam 2024-2025
  • Experience with Solid Works and Vericut (company currently using newest versions)
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and G.D&T. (ASME Y14.5-2009 standard)
  • Ability to consistently deliver products that meets or exceeds specifications
  • High level working knowledge of one or more of the following machine controls: Mazak, Haas and Heidenhian
  • Experienced in optimizing CNC programs, including fixture designs, and reducing machining
  • Proficient with Mastercam software, Vericut verification software, and program editors

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required based on experience
