·       Aggressively pursue Key Accounts for new salon business acquisition and existing salon expansion through creative color solutions.

·       Have a solid understanding of Keune products and strong sales skill which are viewed by both the Distributor sales team and salon staff as a valuable source of information and one who can assist them in growing their business.

·       Possess strong presentation skills to perform demos or basic training.

·       Priority 1 – High Level Demos at Key Accounts & Prospect Events (New Business)

·       Priority 2 – Conversion & Formulation Days (New Business – Securing it)

·       Priority 3 – Category Demos at Existing Accounts (Category Expansion)

·       Priority 4 – Category Specific Conversion & Formulation Days (Category Expansion – Securing it)

·       Priority 5 – Key Account Support (Maintaining our best accounts via in-person Education / Technical Needs)

·       Priority 6 – Limited Key Account Classes 

 

Support existing salons in all facets of Keune business, constantly striving to expand purchasing of Keune products

·       Detail with Distributor Sales Consultants, keeping the primary goals of new door acquisition and existing salon category expansion central to all activities

·       Support delivery of the Keune message at sales meetings under the direction of the Business Development Manager

·       Maintain an awareness and complete understanding of all Keune programs and ensure sharing of that program information with all Distributor Sales Consultants, as well as appropriate store personnel

 

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Cultivate strong and positive professional relationships with Distributor (internal and external) staff, Keune Brand Specialist, and all marketplace salon personnel.

·       Work closely with the Distributor’s Keune Brand Specialist (where applicable), Education Manager, Business Development Manager and contract Keune Educators to create a dynamic Keune business-driver presence throughout the Distributor’s territory

·       Support Distributor shows and events at the direction of the Business Development Manager

·       Utilize and keep current daily a company provided CRM system

·       Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

·       Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required

·       5 or more years of intense color experience in the professional beauty industry

This position requires an expensive knowledge of technicalities of hair color, depth, and tone and is able to work with a variety of techniques.

·       Cosmetology license is required

·       CRM system experience is preferred, but not required

·       Valid driver’s license is required

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·       Acquire & maintain a thorough knowledge of Keune products and possess the presentation skills to share effectively

·       Cost-benefit awareness when making proposal for approval regarding investment in local Keune activities

·       Strong relationship building skills, particularly with front-line distributor field and store sales personnel

·       Problem-solve independently, but possess the awareness to seek assistance when faced with complex problems

·       Possess strong desire to constantly enhance professional skill set

·       Strong sense of integrity and discretion at all times, in all matters

·       Knowledge of basic sales accounting is a plus, but not required

 

Equipment and Applications 

·       Proficient use of computers, equipment and applicable software.

·       Required ability to fulfill the demands of a daily in-territory travel schedule and out-of-home market schedule which will require air travel, overnight hotel stays, and weekend arrival / departures when applicable. Average out-of-home market travel required: approximately 12-15 days per month.
