Position Overview: The Commercial Analytics Manager will serve as dedicated, embedded Business Intelligence support for an assigned divisional book of business, delivering execution-focused insights and thought leadership from Regional Vice Presidents through District Managers. This role leads performance-to-plan collaboration, opportunity analysis, and market-specific training and tool development, partnering closely with a Commercial Analytics Analyst who owns day-to-day report development and data validation. The Manager translates complex commercial and syndicated data into clear, actionable recommendations that help the Sales organization identify and act on growth opportunities.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and dedicated, embedded Business Intelligence support for the assigned division, maintaining daily communication and close collaboration with DVPs, Regional Managers, District Managers, and Strategic Account Leads on sales, performance-to-plan, and results.
  • Deliver execution-focused insights and thought leadership at every level of the division — proactively surfacing sales and program results, risks, and opportunities to sales leadership — to drive performance-to-plan conversations and inform action.
  • Lead opportunity analysis for the division — including targeted account and subset identification, distribution gap analysis, display execution and effectiveness, and key/BTG account opportunities — and identify and communicate the resulting market-level implications of Strategic Account programming, distribution wins, and losses.
  • Provide market-specific collaboration and training — developing tools and delivering real-time support so field teams can confidently use data in selling situations, freeing up more time for face-to-face selling.
  • Deliver expanded, responsive ad-hoc analytics support — including division-level ‘deep dive’ requests — for distributor GSMs, meetings, and retail sales calls, tailored to the individual market.
  • Partner with the Commercial Analytics Analyst and the broader BI team on Power BI reporting, tool development, and solution-based approaches that support strategic initiatives, while the Analyst owns day-to-day report builds, data validation, and vendor data-quality coordination.
  • Support key initiatives spanning planning, program tracking and ROI, launch/reset execution, and distributor and retail Top-to-Top meetings.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve analytics processes or tools in partnership with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Brand Excellence).
  • Support distributor transitions and ERP system changes for the assigned division, ensuring reporting continuity throughout.
  • Translate large, complex data sets into clear, concise, and easily understood executive-level presentations and insight decks for senior leadership.
  • Advance a data-driven culture within the division by championing the use of data and analytics in performance and planning conversations at every level.
  • Join division sales leaders at key distributor meetings to gain firsthand context on — and help address — business challenges.
  • Additional related duties may be assigned, as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, sales analytics, and/or category insights; alcohol beverage experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and data modeling concepts, with the ability to guide report development, interpret DAX-based analyses.
  • Experience reading, interpreting, and deriving insights from Circana/Nielsen and distributor syndicated data.
  • Commercial experience partnering with varying sales levels, executive to field, to derive insights for the targeted audience.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork, maturity under pressure, and anticipates and resolves problems.
  •

Benefits Overview:

Palm Bay offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(K), paid vacation, personal time off and 11 paid company holidays.
