The RoleThe Commissions Analyst is responsible for supporting the systematic calculation, tracking, and reporting of sales commissions across all markets. This role reviews customer contracts and sales incentive plans, maintains commission calculations, and partners closely with Sales Operations, Accounting, and Finance to ensure accurate and timely commission processing. The position requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze results while meeting recurring deadlines.


 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with basic commission calculations and data entry within the commission system, in accordance with documented commission plans and procedures
  • Support the commission team in preparing and executing monthly and quarterly commission system audits
  • Perform system data validation and reconciliation to identify and resolve simple discrepancies
  • Assist with commission inquiries by researching straightforward issues within the commission system and escalating complex items as needed
  • Follow established system controls, timelines, and review processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Learn and apply company‑specific commission structures, policies, and commission system tools
  • Support ad‑hoc reporting and analysis requests using commission system outputs and standard reports, as assigned


 

Requirements:
  • 2–4 years of experience in a financial analysis, accounting, or operations support role.
  • Exposure to commission calculations, sales incentives, or compensation reporting preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large data sets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
