What Can You Expect from Your Experience?

When: May 26 – August 7, 2026

Location: Chicago, IL

Schedule: Hybrid, 40 hrs./wk.

You will be immersed into Conagra Brands and our Communications Organization for 11 weeks.

As a Communications Apprentice at Conagra, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the team on earned media relations initiatives on behalf of the brand communications, corporate communications and foundation groups

  • Assisting with the internal communications team during the quarterly Q4 town hall

  • Coordinating influencer/brand ambassador relations via brand social channels under the brand communications pillar

  • Assisting as needed with events and initiatives on behalf of the Conagra Brands Foundation, including planning for Hunger Action Month

  • Working with the brand and corporate communications team on the group’s annual “Future of Snacking” report

  • Other projects as identified based on team needs

Do you have what it takes?

  • You are enrolled in a degree program with at least 1 semester remaining after the apprenticeship program concludes OR are a senior planning to attend graduate school in the Fall

  • Communications, Social Media, Public Relations, Marketing or related major preferred.

  • Communication Skills: Prepare and present results, both written & oral, to supervisor.

  • You are located in the Chicagoland area and can accommodate a hybrid schedule with four full days in the office each week.
