We are looking for a Communications & Public Relations Manager who can craft compelling narratives, build relationships with top-tier media, and amplify Gong’s voice across the tech, business, and AI landscapes. This role will be instrumental in positioning Gong as the undisputed leader in Revenue AI globally, fueling both brand awareness and market influence. 

• Develop and execute communications plans that advance Gong’s category leadership in Revenue AI.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier business, tech, AI, and trade journalists.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for Gong to build brand awareness in new media segments, such as video, podcasts, and influencer platforms.
• Develop and manage press releases, media advisories, and proactive pitch campaigns.
• Partner with Gong’s execs to identify and prepare speaking opportunities, podcasts, and byline placements.
• Support PR planning and execution for major product launches, corporate announcements, partnerships, and customer wins.
• Orchestrate cross-functional alignment with marketing, product, and leadership teams to ensure message consistency.
• Monitor media sentiment, competitor activity, and industry trends to inform proactive and reactive strategies.
• Support crisis and issues management with clear, timely, and confident communication.
• Manage Gong's PR agency relationships.
• Guide measurement & reporting of PR program.

• 5+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or agency roles—ideally in B2B tech, SaaS, or AI-driven companies.
• Proven track record of securing top-tier media coverage and driving thought leadership programs.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills across formats (press releases, bylines, executive scripts, blog posts).
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Strong relationships with media in business, tech, and AI sectors (or ability to build them quickly).
• Experience with measurement tools (Meltwater, Cision, etc.) and analytics to track PR impact.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $106,350 - $157,000 USD. 

Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
