Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide production support, including design, build, and testing, for one of the listed revenue cycle applications
  • Identify optimization and enhancement opportunities; collaborate with users, vendors, and IT peers to design and implement effective solutions
  • Partner with revenue cycle stakeholders to design, configure, build, and support revenue cycle workflows
  • Collaborate with end users to design and build system changes in a timely, professional manner; make configuration corrections as needed
  • Contribute to new implementations, software upgrades, and workflow enhancements across design, build, and test phases
  • Participate in design and validation sessions; ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation
  • Support incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on-call coverage as required. Troubleshoot and resolve issues and escalate more complex problems as appropriate
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant revenue cycle functionality and the operational workflows being supported
  • Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, reporting details, and other technical issues associated with revenue cycle solutions
  • Build solid relationships with end-user communities, customers, and business partners
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements through implementation, while establishing and maintaining solid working relationships
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and committees to support the overall IT strategy
  • Serve as a role model and coach for high-quality customer service
  • Demonstrate the NLH culture and organizational model; build relationships and establish yourself as an approachable, credible partner
  • Define and oversee system testing as needed, ensuring documentation of test plans, results, and required updates
  • Develop and track measures of IS adoption and usability among clinical and administrative staff
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with one of our three revenue cycle functions
  • 3+ years of healthcare domain knowledge spanning the patient life cycle across the revenue cycle, including scheduling, registration, financial counseling, charge capture, coding and patient accounting, claims management, vendor management, contract management, denials management and collections, and general ledger posting within a healthcare organization
  • 2+ years designing, configuring, and maintaining one of our revenue cycle functions, including support for full-cycle implementations or upgrades (configuration and validation for project work)
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience collaborating with IT partners to oversee the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support and improvement of applications

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience leading small to large-scale optimization projects
  • History of fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion and driving innovation
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence others, including working across diverse groups to drive commonality and reusability in solutioning
  • Demonstrated self-motivation, individual leadership, and team collaboration skills
  • Proven relationship-management skills in complex situations
  • Proven consultative and collaborative style with demonstrated ability to team with cross-functional teams
