As an AI Search Content Writer at Rocket Loans, you drive organic discovery through AI-optimized educational and editorial content that educates, informs, and converts. You understand how to write for both human readers and search engines—structuring content to be cited, trusted, and acted on. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, you'll produce high-quality content across the Learning Center, product detail pages, and lifecycle email while maintaining content freshness and identifying strategic gaps. Your expertise in fintech writing, combined with your understanding of AEO/GEO and SEO fundamentals, will directly impact Rocket Loans' visibility and authority in the personal finance space.

About the role

  • Write and edit Learning Center articles, guides, FAQs, and product detail pages optimized for AEO/GEO citability and AI-generated responses

  • Develop net-new content that strengthens Rocket Loans' presence in AI search while writing education-based lifecycle and nurture email copy that reflects brand voice

  • Maintain content freshness across the site by updating data points, dates, and copy on a regular cadence to ensure accuracy and continued citability

  • Flag content gaps and bring strategic ideas for addressing them to the content strategy conversation

  • Apply a working knowledge of content structure best practices including key takeaways, anchor-linked headers, sourced claims, author attribution, and FAQ sections

  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to ensure content development and implementation are aligned while supporting press release drafting and earned media efforts

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of AEO/GEO and SEO fundamentals including search intent, content structure, and query-driven writing strategies

About you

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience writing and editing digital content

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related field

  • Experience writing in the personal finance, fintech, or financial services space

  • Demonstrable understanding of AEO/GEO and SEO fundamentals: search intent, content structure, and query-driven writing

  • Experience working with a content management system and project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday, Jira, Confluence)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with schema concepts or structured content (no technical implementation required)

  • Experience drafting press releases or supporting affiliate and media relations

  • Experience building or maintaining a content inventory

  • Financial certifications or credentials (e.g., CFEd, CFEI, CPA/PFS, CFP)

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $66,500.00-$140,000.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
