The Role

We're looking for an exceptional writer first and a content strategist second.

Plasiv is looking for someone who can take complex, technical ideas and turn them into clear, credible content that engineers actually want to read.

This is a content writing role first and a social media management role second.

You'll work directly with the founder and design team to define how Plasiv communicates its ideas - from product pages and technical explainers to customer stories, thought leadership, and social content.

If you enjoy making complicated topics easy to understand, obsess over clarity, and care deeply about how ideas are communicated, we'd love to talk.

Why This Matters

  • Manufacturing is a $550B industry that still runs on spreadsheets, tribal knowledge, and disconnected systems.

  • Plasiv is building the world's first end-to-end manufacturing intelligence platform for the electronics industry, helping manufacturers replace reactive workflows with a unified, AI-powered system.

  • The opportunity is enormous, but the story is still largely untold.

  • Your work won't sit in a deck.

  • Everything you create has the potential to go live—on our website, LinkedIn, customer materials, and in front of engineering and operations leaders at some of the world's largest electronics manufacturers across the US, India, China, and Japan.

  • You'll help define the voice, messaging, and content foundation of a category-defining company from the ground up.

What Success Looks Like

Success is measured by your ability to:

  • Explain complex manufacturing and AI concepts clearly

  • Create content that engineers trust

  • Help prospects understand Plasiv's value faster

  • Develop a distinctive voice for the company

  • Use data and customer feedback to improve content continuously

What You'll Do

Write

  • Write technical explainers, product narratives, customer stories, and thought leadership content.

  • Create website copy, blog posts, LinkedIn content, and sales enablement materials.

  • Turn complex manufacturing workflows into clear, useful, and engaging content.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and leadership to accurately communicate what we're building.

Strategize

  • Develop and own Plasiv's content roadmap and editorial calendar

  • Identify content opportunities based on customer conversations, product updates, and industry trends

  • Help define and evolve Plasiv's voice, tone, and messaging framework

  • Build lightweight content systems, templates, and documentation that future team members can inherit

Learn & Improve

  • Use analytics (GA4, LinkedIn Analytics, and other tools) to understand what resonates.

  • Conduct content experiments and iterate based on results

  • Leverage AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate content creation while maintaining quality and accuracy

  • Research customer pain points, industry trends, and market narratives to inform content strategy

  • Use research, customer conversations, and small experiments to validate what's working and kill what isn't

What We're Looking For

Must Have

  • Exceptional writing skills

  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly without oversimplifying them

  • Strong research and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and editorial judgment

  • Curiosity about technology, AI, manufacturing, and how complex systems work

  • Comfort using AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude as part of a writing workflow

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines

  • Working familiarity with HTML, content management systems (CMS), taxonomy, and basic UX principles, enough to publish, structure, and ship without help.

Bonus Points

  • Experience writing about technical, B2B, engineering, software, manufacturing, or AI topics

  • Personal blog, newsletter, writing portfolio, or online publication

  • Experience with content analytics and performance measurement

  • Familiarity with GEO and SEO fundamentals

  • Basic design skills (Figma, Canva, or similar)

  • Experience running content experiments and learning from the results

What We Offer

  • Competitive intern compensation

  • Real ownership and visibility

  • Opportunity to shape the voice of an early-stage company

  • Exposure to product, design, engineering, and go-to-market strategy

  • Work that ships, gets read, and creates measurable impact

Why You'll Love It Here

We're a small, friendly, fast-moving team. We run lean. We prioritize quality, meaningful innovation, and polish. We ground every decision in research and evidence. And we ship, so your work will have a real, immediate impact on real customers.

If you want to define what content looks like at a category-defining industrial AI company and do the best work while you're at it, this is the seat.
