Ce poste offre une occasion unique d'agir en tant que partenaire commercial des gestionnaires de projet, en veillant à ce que tous les aspects financiers et commerciaux soient gérés efficacement. Vous serez responsable de la supervision des revenus des projets allant de 75 MUSD à 125 MUSD, ce qui aura un impact significatif sur nos opérations. L'impact que vous aurez

  • Collaborer avec les responsables des appels d'offres sur les aspects financiers, commerciaux et fiscaux au cours de la phase d'appel d'offres.

  • Préparer et gérer les plans d'exécution financière du projet, y compris la reconnaissance des revenus et les plans de facturation.

  • Veiller à l'exactitude des bilans, des comptes de résultats et des prévisions de flux de trésorerie du projet.

  • Assurer la trésorerie du projet et le respect des exigences de financement.

  • Participer à l'identification des risques et mettre en œuvre des mesures d'atténuation.

  • Effectuer des revues de projet mensuelles et mettre à jour les prévisions dans SAP.

  • Former les chefs de projet aux outils et stratégies financiers.

  • Veiller au respect des procédures de gouvernance d'entreprise et de contrôle interne.

Votre expérience

  • Baccalauréat en comptabilité, en finance ou dans un domaine connexe, ou expérience professionnelle équivalente.

  • Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est un atout.

  • Vous possédez de solides connaissances de S4 Hana sur le cockpit de projet et d'autres modules qui soutiennent la gestion globale du portefeuille de projets.

  • 2 à 4 ans d'expérience dans la gestion de projets et les processus financiers.

  • Solide connaissance pratique des USGAAP et des GAAP locaux.

  • Expérience du contrôle interne des rapports financiers.

  • Excellentes compétences en matière de gestion de projet et de gestion du changement.

  • Capacité à établir des relations de travail efficaces avec les parties prenantes.

The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Project Financial Controller and become a key player in driving the financial success of our projects across Canada and the US. This role offers a unique opportunity to act as a business partner to Project Managers, ensuring all financial and commercial aspects are managed effectively. You will be responsible for overseeing project revenues ranging from 75 MUSD to 125 MUSD, making a significant impact on our operations. How you'll make an impact

  • Collaborate with Tender Managers on financial, commercial, and tax aspects during the tender stage.

  • Prepare and manage Project Financial Execution Plans, including revenue recognition and billing plans.

  • Ensure accuracy in project balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow forecasts.

  • Drive project cash flow and compliance with financing requirements.

  • Participate in risk identification and implement mitigation actions.

  • Conduct monthly project reviews and update forecasts in SAP.

  • Educate Project Managers on financial tools and strategies.

  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and internal control procedures.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Bilingual (French & English) is an asset

  • Possess strong S4 Hana knowledge about project cockpit and other modules which support the overall management of the project portfolio.

  • 2-4 years of experience in project management and financial processes.

  • Strong working knowledge of USGAAP and local GAAP.

  • Experience with internal control over financial reporting.

  • Excellent project management and change management skills.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
