Here at Hometap, we’re collaborative, passionate, and always ready to roll up our sleeves to create solutions that help people get more out of homeownership — and out of life. Our first product, a home equity investment, gives homeowners the opportunity to quickly access the equity they’ve built in their home to pay for what’s most important to them, from handling debt to finally making much-needed renovations, without taking on debt.
We work hard, and have some fun along the way, too. You don’t have to take our word for it: The Boston Globe and Forbes have recognized us as a great place to work, and we’ve been honored for our commitment to innovation in the fintech space by Inc., HousingWire, and more!
In case you need any more convincing, we also provide competitive compensation, healthcare coverage, generous PTO, a meaningful equity package, and a strong culture with plenty of opportunities for team-building and camaraderie.
Who you are:
We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Contract Creative Project Manager to lead creative project management and production at Hometap. You’ll partner with creative leadership to ensure projects are prioritized effectively, resources are forecasted, and internal and external resources have everything they need to do their work. You’ll serve as a bridge between stakeholders, the creative team, and external production partners — ensuring Hometap’s creative output is both high-quality and highly efficient.
This is a contract role, with a full-time workload (40 hrs/week) from July 2026 to mid-January 2027.
What you'll do:
- Lead creative project management: Oversee project intake, resourcing, scheduling, and prioritization in partnership with marketing leadership
- Strategic project ownership: Not just track tasks, but evaluate scope, anticipate risks, and proactively resolve issues before they become blockers
- Resource planning: Forecast team bandwidth and surface capacity gaps
- Production leadership: Manage external production vendors across video, audio, motion, and print — ensuring output meets Hometap standards and budgets
- Budget accountability: Assist with tracking and reporting of the creative production budget, providing visibility to leadership on spend and forecasts
- Stakeholder alignment: Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, ensuring creative work is aligned with business goals and delivered on time
- Timeline accountability: Hold team members, vendors, and stakeholders accountable for timelines
What you bring:
- 5–7 years of experience in project management and creative production across video, social, and digital (print a plus)
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional creative workflows and managing external production vendors
- Strong resource planning and budget management skills
- Confidence to influence prioritization and push back when necessary in service of the best outcome
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset, and a passion for helping creative teams do their best work
- Experience with project management software
Compensation for this role expected to be $10,000/month, depending on your experience, skills, location, and other factors. This contract role is not eligible for additional benefits such as equity, healthcare, etc. Candidates must be able to commit 40 hrs/week to the full contract timeline which runs from early July 2026 - mid January 2027.
