The public sector enabling capabilities organization (ECO) consists of six functions that support Huron at the enterprise level: sales operations, sales enablement, government and policy relations, contracts management, engagement management, and engagement assurance. As part of ECO, contracts management is responsible for supporting compliance with regulations, contract review and negotiation, and coordinating among various business units regarding government contracting.
The Public Sector Contracts Management Associate will assist the Public Sector Contracts Director with responsibilities relating to contract lifecycle operations, including contract initiation, renewals, contract management and administration. This role will work with Public Sector Strategic Sellers and engagement leaders across the enterprise. The position reports to the Public Sector Contracts Director.

• Assist as needed with contract documents, including RFPs, confidentiality agreements, teaming agreements, vendor agreements, and other client and vendor documents, representations and certifications.
• Review terms and conditions and statements of work for areas of risk and compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures, escalating complex issues to senior staff.
• Maintain contract records and track key information in Huron’s contract lifecycle management tool
• Support the Contracts Director with research related to regulatory requirements (e.g., federal acquisition regulations (FAR), contracting vehicle requirements).
• Support development and maintenance of documentation and playbooks for client contracts
• Coordinate acceptance and signature processes with appropriate signatories
• Stay informed about updates to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) that may impact Huron, sharing relevant information with the team.
• Assist with onboarding of new project staff to government contracting and project processes/tools.
• Participate in internal strategic initiatives and projects as assigned. May be asked to support other tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree required and current permanent U.S. work authorization required
• 2+ years of contract management experience
• Experience with government contracting preferred
• Understanding of government contracting procedures and contract types, including basic understanding of the FAR.
• Ability to read and interpret federal documents (RFPs, RFIs, federal schedules).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams) and AI tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to complete daily tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to balance multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with teams and individuals of varying working styles in a virtual environment.
 

The estimated base salary range for this job is $75,000 - $100,000.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy.  Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $84,000- $118,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
