You will ensure the integrity of consolidated financial results, manage full-cycle accounting for shared-service entities, support Embrace HQ budgeting, and lead financial system implementation for new acquisitions.
You may also serve as the Controller or Interim Finance Manager for newly acquired business units until dedicated finance resources are in place.

Key Responsibilities

Consolidation & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and currencies (USD, CAD, GBP, INR).
  • Maintain intercompany eliminations, management fee allocations, and transfer pricing adjustments.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and ensure consistent accounting policies, closing timelines, and reporting standards across all subsidiaries.

Shared Services Controllership

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Lead systems implementation and financial integration for new acquisitions, ensuring consistent setup of entities, accounts, and workflows in NetSuite and other tools.
  • Support automation and reporting improvements, including consolidated dashboards and entity-level reconciliations.
  • Maintain well-documented accounting procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and audit readiness across all jurisdictions.

Requirements
  • CPA (or equivalent) designation.
  • 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including multi-entity consolidation and full-cycle accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-currency reporting, intercompany accounting, and transfer pricing.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of IFRS; experience in SaaS or technology industries is an asset.
  • Public accounting experience (audit or assurance) is an asset, particularly in multi-entity engagements.

Preferred Profile

  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently across multiple time zones.
  • Balances hands-on accounting with strategic process improvement and systems thinking.
  • Excellent communicator who collaborates effectively with directors, controllers, accountants, and external auditors/advisors.
  • Adaptable and proactive — thrives in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

  • Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.

  • Experience collaborating with a diverse, global team within a remote work setting.
