What You'll Do
Own accounting operations across multiple lines of business and consolidated reporting
Lead the month-end close with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous process improvement
Oversee annual audit activities, general ledger accounting, treasury, accounts receivable and billing, and accounts payable
Lead, develop, and support a small team of accounting professionals
Deliver the monthly reporting package, including financial statements, presentation materials, and clear variance-focused commentary for company leadership
Play a leading role in Third Wave's transition to a new ERP platform, including data flows, system setup to enable growth, and integration with group reporting
Partner closely with the Pine Services Group accounting team on audit, capital expenditures, sales tax, and consolidation
Identify and act on opportunities to strengthen systems, controls, and reporting as the business scales
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Active or recently active CPA license, or equivalent
8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadership
Demonstrated ownership of month-end close and financial reporting
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, with particular emphasis on ASC 606 revenue and cost recognition standards
Hands-on experience with mid-market ERP systems such as Business Central or Acumatica
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce clear, executive-ready reporting
Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to deadlines
A genuine desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
Experience in a private equity-backed or public organization
ERP implementation or migration experience
Background in professional services, consulting, or technology services
Power BI experience
