JumpSeat is a hybrid agency & consultancy that empowers B2B marketing and revenue teams. We partner with US clients across sales, marketing, business development, and operations to unlock growth and help them achieve their goals.

We're looking for a Copy & Content Capability Lead who can transform how we create, deliver, and scale exceptional content. This role will not only be responsible for writing copy, but they will also be integral to building the infrastructure, culture, and team that will define our content excellence for years to come.

You'll lead our content strategy across brand, editorial, creative concepts, and campaign work. You'll mentor freelancers, develop processes, and ensure everything we produce meets the highest standards. Most importantly, you'll have the autonomy to shape this function and make it something remarkable.

We're a team that's already integrated AI into our daily workflow. We're looking for someone who is curious and excited to find opportunities to use these tools as a way to elevate quality and efficiency, not replace craft.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead content creation across key formats. From ghost writing and thought leadership to white papers, web copy, creative concepts, and brand work—you'll contribute directly while maintaining strategic oversight.
  • Elevate our freelance network. Review work across all content verticals, provide thoughtful feedback, and help writers grow. You'll need the ability to assess quality across diverse formats—knowing immediately what makes a piece of writing work and how to make it better.
  • Build scalable systems. Create the training materials, workflows, and quality frameworks that allow us to grow without compromising excellence. You'll establish how we work, not just what we produce.
  • Drive collaboration. Work closely with strategy, design, and client teams to ensure content aligns with broader campaign goals. Be available for client conversations, technical discussions, and the moments when the team needs your expertise.
  • Shape our culture. This is about more than deliverables. You'll help build a team culture centered on craft, continuous learning, and genuine commitment to excellence.

Our ideal candidate has

  • 5-10 years of proven copywriting experience with a portfolio that demonstrates versatility across formats and b2b industries.
  • Intellectual curiosity and rigor. You’re comfortable diving deep into complex B2B industries, asking questions, researching independently, and pushing until you truly understand the subject so your writing reflects the client’s world with accuracy and nuance.
  • A discerning eye for quality. You can evaluate writing across different verticals and articulate what's working and what isn't. Whether it's a landing page, a white paper, or brand messaging, you know good writing when you see it—and you can guide others to get there.
  • Leadership experience. You've managed or mentored writers, ideally in a fast-paced agency environment. You understand how to develop talent and build high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency with AI tools. You're comfortable using AI as part of your daily practice and you see its potential to enhance both your work and your team's output.
  • A builder's mindset. You're energized by creating systems, documenting processes, and building frameworks that make excellent work repeatable and scalable.
  • Strategic thinking. You understand how content serves broader business objectives and strengthens client relationships. You see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to craft.
  • Genuine commitment. We're looking for someone who's fully invested, wants to own this capability, contribute to our culture, and build something meaningful with us.

What's in it for you?

  • Amazing Crew: Join a team of talented people who will inspire you and support you every step of the way
  • Remote-First Culture: Work with colleagues in the US, Italy, and Argentina in a flexible, distributed environment
  • Growth & Development: $1,000 annual Development Budget to invest in AI courses, tools, conferences, or other learning opportunities
