Angott Search Group is partnering with a dynamic midsized national law firm in the search for a Corporate Associate with 3–5 years of corporate experience to join its growing and highly collaborative Corporate Practice Group.

About the Practice

The Corporate Practice Group represents middle-market companies, private equity funds, family businesses, and entrepreneurs in a wide range of transactional and governance matters. The firm handles M&A transactions ranging from $10 million to $1 billion across diverse industries, including food & beverage, industrial manufacturing, professional services, cannabis, and more.

The work includes complex acquisitions, divestitures, ESOP transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, complex commercial agreements, private offerings, and general corporate counseling.

Experience:

  • Private company mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, disclosure schedules, LLC/shareholder agreements, and advising middle-market companies on general corporate matters.
  • Knowledge of private equity, sophisticated M&A transactions, and private securities offerings is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate with specialist teams, organize transaction checklists, drive multiple deal workstreams, and conduct efficient and thorough due diligence.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
