Smith is looking for a strategic, results-driven Corporate Recruiter with a proven track record of quality sourcing and hiring to join our team! You will be part of a dynamic HR team where you will have the opportunity to initiate and develop new hiring strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles, with an emphasis on sales roles, in the Americas region
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and business needs, define job requirements, and develop tailored sourcing strategies
  • Present your hiring solutions and proposals to senior management
  • Map, source and engage top talent through a mix of channels including LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and regional talent networks
  • Screen and assess candidates to make sure they are a great fit
  • Make offers for employment and conduct the full background and reference check process, including coordination of all necessary approval paperwork before handing off to HR
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, and internal hiring policies
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partner to support workforce planning and internal mobility
  • Provide data-driven insights and regular reporting on recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire)
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives and overall recruitment strategy
  • Maintain a strong candidate experience

Competencies:

  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
  • Creative, strategic, and results-oriented in the recruiting process
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently

Experience:

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience with at least 5+ years in filling commercial roles
  • Experience working for an executive search firm
  • Sales recruiting experience required
  • Experience with industry-specific headhunting is a plus
  • Experience with multi-site locations a plus
  • Experience in high volume recruitment environment preferred
  • Proven track record of quality hiring

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent

Software Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Workday preferred, but not required
  • Strong internet sourcing skills
