What you will be expected to do:
- Manage end-to-end warehouse and inventory operations across multiple locations in India, ensuring optimum stock availability, inventory accuracy, and compliance.
- Oversee dispatch and logistics operations to ensure timely deliveries and efficient forward and reverse logistics management.
- Drive transportation and warehousing cost optimization through vendor management, contract negotiations, and process improvements.
- Ensure accurate order processing, dispatch documentation, and sales booking in SAP while monitoring the complete order lifecycle.
- Manage procurement planning and inventory alignment based on sales forecasts to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Manage customer agreements, SLA adherence, operational escalations, and regulatory compliance related to tax and trade policies.
- Drive process excellence initiatives, including automation, Warehouse Management Systems/Transportation Management System implementation, network optimization, and logistics risk management.
- Own logistics-related operational KPIs and P&L elements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional operations teams while driving performance through defined KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
You might be a strong candidate if you have/are:
- 8+ years of proven experience in supply chain management, distribution, warehouse & logistics.
- Proven experience in managing distribution operations in collaboration with distributors, logistics partners, and sales teams, with a focus on process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to lead and manage remote operations teams with minimal supervision.
- Good analytical and organizational skills with proficiency in SAP, Excel/Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
- Sound understanding of inventory management, transportation, warehousing, vendor negotiations, and distribution networks.
- Exposure to large-scale logistics and distribution operations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Good stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities with internal and external partners.
