Department Overview
The Global Operations team at Motorola Solutions is dedicated to maximizing the effectiveness of our global sales force. We empower our sellers and sales leaders with the tools and insights they need. As an intern on our team you will gain valuable experience in the world of CPQ enablement, sales effectiveness, and sales operations. You will work cross-functionally across Sales Operations, Product Management, Product Orderability, and Data Analytics teams at MSI, providing you with a unique opportunity to understand the sales cycle, apply analytic skills and contribute to strategic programs.

Job Description

MSI is seeking a highly motivated and analytical intern to join our CPQ Quote to Order Experience team, part of our Global Operations organization. The intern will learn how we maintain the engine that powers our revenue, leveraging data and product information accessibility for sellers to achieve peak performance. This role also offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience on how a global tech company brings products to market and manages a complex quoting system. This position will provide exposure to the full sales cycle and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the CPQ Quote to Order Experience team by contributing to product management within the CPQ platform, ensuring products are correctly configured for sales use.

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Operations to prepare for new product launches and run-rate releases. 

  • Partner with the Data Analytics team to explore new data sources and analytical techniques to enhance quote accuracy and time-to-quote system improvements. 

  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to CPQ enablement and process improvement.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of CPQ enablement programs and initiatives such as ordering guides, FAQs and training materials to simplify the quoting process for sellers.

  • Assist in the organization and administration of data validation and user acceptance testing.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to learn new software and data analytics tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Ability to use and analyze artificial intelligence.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

  • Passion for sales, data analysis, and enabling sales team success.

Note: Candidate must be in the Chicago office 3 days per week.

Basic Requirements
  • High School Diploma is required

  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a graduation date of December 2026 or later

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
