JumpSeat is a hybrid agency & consultancy that empowers B2B marketing and revenue teams. We partner with US clients across sales, marketing, business development, and operations to unlock growth and help them achieve their goals.

As the Creative Content Capability Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the identity of this key Capability. Content is at the core of all we do for our clients, and it's a crucial area to develop within JumpSeat.

Role Summary:

In this role, you will work collaboratively with JumpSeat's Leadership Team, Account Leaders, and internal stakeholders, with a clear focus on defining what good creative content is. You will not only set the creative vision but also oversee content deliverables, as well as execute diverse and compelling copy (with the support of an extensive network of freelancers) for key projects. You will align it with our clients' and JumpSeat's overall marketing goals and ensure that we effectively transmit complex B2B concepts to our clients' and JumpSeat's audiences. This role combines strategy and execution and offers the opportunity to significantly impact our creative strategy moving forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Leadership team to elevate the Creative Content Capability by setting the standard and vision for high-quality content at JumpSeat. This includes diverse forms of copy and content. You will oversee content creation and be the final approver.
  • Help define the Capability Talent Strategy by identifying gaps, providing hiring recommendations, and giving feedback about our existing in-house and external copy talent.
  • Create creative copy pieces that align with the company's marketing goals, considering industry concepts, audiences, market trends, and competitors. You will curate and select the most strategic and compelling projects and choose freelance partners for projects we can't manage internally.
  • Lead the Creative Content Capability by building processes that help JumpSeat scale the area, establishing best practices that foster efficient collaboration between team members and freelancers.
  • Collaborate with Account Leads in managing our existing copy freelancing network by sharing creative briefs, providing feedback, and setting expectations with external collaborators.
  • Partner with internal team members and freelancers, fostering an environment of collaboration by sharing and adopting feedback constructively.
  • Collaborate with other creative team members to develop and shape the Creative workgroup.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Plans and organizes workload to execute efficiently and productively, focusing on key priorities.
  • Acts without being told what to do and brings new ideas to the company.
  • Is not afraid to proactively leverage AI to enhance efficiency while thoughtfully integrating a human touch to deliver balanced, impactful content.
  • Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
  • Attentively focuses on listening to both what is being said and what is not being said to move projects forward.
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions and effectively copes with complexity and change.
  • Maintains stable performance under heavy pressure or stress.
  • Does not cut corners ethically, earns trust, and maintains confidence. Does what is right, not just what is politically expedient, and speaks plainly and truthfully.
  • Is a process-oriented individual with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

What is in it for you?

  • You’ll join a team of amazing people that will inspire you and support you every step of the way.
  • You’ll join a remote-first company with colleagues in the US, Italy, and Argentina.
  • You’ll find a place to grow and develop: we support all our crew members with a yearly $1000 Development Budget
  • We celebrate you: on your first anniversary, you’ll receive a $500 Anniversary flight to go anywhere in the world
  • We recognize each other: We leverage Hey Taco for our daily recognition. We also have a great rewards program associated with it!
  • We thrive in balance: Unlimited PTO, Summer Fridays, Time off between holidays? You name it, we’ve got it.
