We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead the early-stage ideation, concept development, and strategic creative direction for digital experiences. This role bridges strategy, UX, brand, and technology—translating business objectives into compelling, insight-driven creative solutions.

The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, workshop facilitator, and conceptual thinker who thrives in ambiguity and shapes clarity through discovery engagements.

Key Responsibilities 🔹 Creative Strategy & Discovery Leadership

  • Lead discovery workshops, design sprints, and stakeholder sessions.
  • Translate business goals into creative opportunity areas.
  • Define experience vision, north-star concepts, and storytelling frameworks.
  • Develop creative territories and conceptual directions.

🔹 Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with clients to align on brand, vision, and experience strategy.
  • Present and defend creative rationale at executive levels.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, UX, Product, and Technology teams.

🔹 Concept Development

  • Create high-level experience concepts, mood boards, journey frameworks, and narrative storytelling.
  • Define brand expression across digital platforms (web, mobile, commerce, campaigns).
  • Guide early prototypes and visual direction.

🔹 Team Leadership

  • Mentor designers, copywriters, and strategists.
  • Ensure creative excellence and consistency.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.

🔹 Innovation & Industry Awareness

  • Stay current with emerging design trends, AI-driven creativity, digital transformation, and immersive experiences.
  • Introduce new frameworks and creative tools for discovery engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in creative, brand, or digital experience roles.
  • Proven experience leading creative discovery or early-stage ideation programs.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and strategic storytelling.
  • Experience in digital ecosystems (eCommerce, CMS, Marketing platforms, etc.).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in design thinking facilitation.
  • Background in UX strategy or brand strategy.
  • Exposure to platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud, CommerceTools, etc.
  • Experience in consulting or digital transformation programs.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 92,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 322,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
