Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and customer-focused Customer Engineer to join our team. As a Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, support, and guidance to our valued customers. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and implementing effective solutions. You will also play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by providing technical expertise and support throughout the sales process. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and engage with prospective customers to understand their needs, present solutions, and demonstrate the value of our products or services. This position requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. 

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers, and actively participate in the sales process from discovery to closing deals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations that effectively showcase our products or services' features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Understand customer requirements and business challenges, and develop innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections during the pre-sales phase.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications that meet customer requirements and align with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on product enhancements, identify opportunities for improvement, and stay updated on the latest product releases and updates.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and building trust.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products or services against competitors.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and actively engage with potential customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must
  • Strong technical background with Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role, preferably in the information security industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
