About this Role:
We are looking to hire a Customer Engineer at Patch My PC. In this role, you will help demonstrate the value of Patch My PC products and how they integrate and enhance our customer’s investment in Microsoft Configuration Manager and Intune to automate third-party application management. You will also assist customers in deploying our solutions to meet their security and compliance needs while providing exceptional support throughout the customer relationship lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver product demonstrations, onboarding sessions, and environment reviews for customers.
- Manage customer issues end‑to‑end, including complex cases and escalations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues across Patch My PC products and supported platforms.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to improvements in documentation or troubleshooting workflows.
- Provide guidance on product usage, platform best practices, and enterprise configurations.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, and other teams on customer-impacting needs.
- Contribute to team knowledge-sharing, mentoring, and readiness activities.
- Create and maintain technical content such as KBs, documentation, and blogs.
- Participate in webinars, training sessions, or community events as needed.
- Stay current with platform updates and industry changes and share relevant insights with the team.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience working with either Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Intune
- 5+ years of experience in technical, customer‑facing roles
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across Patch My PC products and supported platforms
- Proficiency with Intune, Configuration Manager (SCCM), WSUS, and related enterprise management tools
- Ability to perform detailed root cause analysis
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences
- Be comfortable presenting/leading customer-facing calls.
- Ability to manage complex customer issues and escalations independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and internal tool improvements
- Capacity to learn new tools, technologies, and product areas quickly
- Solid understanding of enterprise configuration and recommended platform approaches
Nice to Haves:
- PowerShell or scripting experience (PowerShell/C# preferred)
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar workflow tools
- Understanding of certificate creation, deployment, and use in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of software updates and application deployment in Intune or Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Experience with application packaging or automation workflows
- Awareness of security considerations and effective patching approaches
- Experience contributing to cross‑functional initiatives or product‑feedback loops
Compensation:
- Competitive Base Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 based on experience and location.
