Position Overview

The Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) Developer is responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining analytics solutions within Adobe Customer Journey Analytics. This role focuses on supporting Adobe Analytics (AA) to CJA migration initiatives, rebuilding analytics components, and ensuring reporting accuracy within the CJA Workspace environment.

Because migration utilities do not fully translate AA Workspace components into CJA, this role requires hands-on expertise recreating projects, segments, and calculated metrics directly within the CJA interface. The developer must understand Adobe Analytics administrative configurations — including marketing channels, processing rules, and classifications — to ensure continuity of measurement and reporting logic.

You will work closely with analytics teams, data engineers, and solution architects to deliver accurate and scalable analytics implementations that support enterprise reporting and insights.

Key ResponsibilitiesWorkspace Development & Implementation
  • Build and maintain projects within CJA Workspace

  • Recreate AA Workspace projects manually in CJA

  • Develop and configure segments, filters, and calculated metrics

  • Optimize projects for performance, clarity, and usability

Migration Execution Support
  • Execute component recreation for AA → CJA migrations

  • Validate component parity between AA and CJA environments

  • Identify gaps introduced by migration utilities and resolve them

  • Support documentation of recreated logic and configurations

Adobe Analytics Configuration Interpretation
  • Understand and apply AA administrative configurations including:

    • Marketing channel rules

    • Processing rules

    • Classifications

  • Translate configuration intent into CJA reporting structures

  • Assist in identifying configuration dependencies impacting migration

Data Validation & Quality Assurance
  • Validate reporting outputs and metric accuracy

  • Troubleshoot discrepancies between AA and CJA reports

  • Conduct QA across projects, segments, and calculated metrics

  • Ensure alignment with governance and naming standards

Collaboration & Delivery
  • Partner with analytics teams to implement reporting requirements

  • Work with data engineering teams on dataset readiness and validation

  • Support architects and leads during migration planning and execution

  • Maintain technical documentation and tracking plans

Required Skills & ExperiencePlatform Expertise
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics Workspace

  • Experience building projects within Customer Journey Analytics

  • Familiarity with AA → CJA migration processes

  • Understanding of event-based analytics and dataset-driven reporting
