The Customer Solutions Engineer manages system integrations, provides technical support, troubleshoots complex issues, and optimizes operational systems while collaborating with clients.
This is a full-time, hybrid role located in Chicago, IL, for a Customer Solutions Engineer on the Deployments team at Outcome. Outcome is expanding the Deployments team to accommodate a rapidly growing customer base. The position is a critical customer-facing, technical role that requires thorough knowledge of the Outcome platform, excellent communication skills, and excellent collaboration skills to translate customers’ business problems into technical solutions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Expertise: Develop and maintain excellent hands-on knowledge of the Outcome platform
- Client Collaboration: Lead deep deployment discovery and product requirements documentation to ensure accurate mapping of customers’ business priorities and problems into technical solutions
- Engineering and Deployment: Build and deploy production-grade AI solutions for customers using the Outcome platform
- Proactive Support: Monitor platform activity and collaborate with developers and product to spot and solve pain points before they impact clients
- Strategic Partnership: build relationships with customers, acting as both a technical expert and advocate for client success throughout their lifecycle; identify additional use cases for Outcome usage within the customer environment
- Operate AI-First: Design tools and systems to create leverage for yourself and the broader Deployments team
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a customer-facing, technical deployment role
- Hands-on engineering experience in production: you’ve read or written code, built integrations, or shipped software
- Experience with system integration and deployment processes
- Highly organized with strong project management and execution instincts
- Strong ability to build technical trust and influence cross-functionally across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
- Confident, polished communication skills with a proven ability to build lasting, critical business relationships both internally and externally
- Use modern AI tooling to accelerate customer-facing technical work
- Nice to have: direct experience in real estate or proptech
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
