Role Description
The Associate, Technology New Hire Software Support is responsible for supporting new providers in their onboarding process as it relates to training, access and logins of Oak Street Health's Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Greenway (GWY) Primesuite and other programs essential for providers as they prepare to see patients. Once access is achieved, training will focus on foundational skills and workflows for providers to navigate systems confidently. Success requires enthusiasm, high level of professionalism, persistence, a high degree of resourcefulness and excellent communications skills. Specific role responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Flexibility to travel to centers nationwide; up to 25%
- Becoming an Oak Street internal expert on clinical and service team workflows as related to EMR and other programs essential for providers
- Collaborating with program owners to streamline login processes and documents to support initial setups
- Developing management reports based on data in our EMR
- Training new users on our EMR and other programs, and assist with delivering onboarding lectures
- Partner with Clinical Performance Corporate Team to improve provider onboarding experience as it relates to your role
- Serve as the go-to for login issues as it relates to GWY and other utilized programs in the first few weeks of new hire
- Interacting directly with center staff and treehouse members on an ongoing basis
- Support Care Model Technology & Software Support Team as directed
This role reports directly to the Director of Care Model Technology & Software Support and has significant opportunity for advancement and growth of responsibility.
We're looking for motivated individuals with:
- At least 1-2 years of healthcare EMR technical support, training or software implementation
- Experience with technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A problem-solving orientation and a flexible and positive attitude
- Incredible level of organization and reliability
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- US work authorization
