Seasonal Implementation Support
Jellyvision is hiring Seasonal Implementation Support
Jellyvision’s headquarters is in Chicago, and, post-COVID, many of us will be returning to the Chicago offices (by choice, not requirement -- our philosophy is “Flexible First”). But this position is also eligible for work by a remote employee out of CA, FL, GA, IL, KY, MA, MI, MN, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, TX, UT, WA, or WI.
Who we are
We’re the proud parents of ALEX®, an interactive employee communications platform that makes choosing (and using) employee benefits easier and more enjoyable. Our credo is a simple one: be helpful. And we think the best way to achieve that is with a staff that reflects the vast range of ideas, perspectives, and experiences of the millions of people who use our products.
How you’ll help
During our very busy software implementation season, our production team delivers many customer-tailored versions of ALEX in a short period. Why so short? There’s a tiny window between when our customers design their employee benefits packages and when ALEX must be live online for those customers’ employees to use.
We make customer-specific versions by copyediting, formatting, testing, building, and otherwise doing whatever it takes to get each customer’s ALEX experience just right. We’re looking for seasonal Implementation support to help configure perfect, customized versions of our software for our Implementation Experts to deliver to our awesome customers and to contribute to our annual implementation process during our customers’ benefit election season.
Seasonal Implementation support works 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from mid-July, through mid-November. (Start and end dates may vary.)
What you’ll do
- Pull tasks and projects from a team board and complete them on time.
- Edit customer content to fit within character limits while maintaining the voice of ALEX.
- Use project management software and standardized processes to produce review versions of the products for our IEs to deliver to their customers.
- Verify that the review versions look awesome and are free from typos, grammar mistakes, and bugs.
- Document progress and communicating statuses with IEs.
- Populate email templates and customer documents for IEs to send internally and externally.
- Take on other ad-hoc projects to help with the production and implementation process.
Experience & skills you’ll need
- Experience with copyediting, proofreading, and/or quality assurance.
- Experience doing high-quality work with a quick turnaround.
- Experience with problem solving.
