The Digital Content Marketing team is a large group of in-house creatives and creative ops professionals who support all the branded creative marketing and merchandising needs for Groupon globally. We work to create a brand people get excited about, for both customers and our clients across the company, through visual design, content marketing, and photos and videos from our in-house studio.

 

As the Senior Creative Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving alignment with cross-functional partner to ensure that the creative team’s marketing output aligns to business needs within scope and budget. You’ll also act as the primary point of contact between partners and the in-house agency, resolving issues, managing communication, and driving prioritization of projects to ensure completion.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Lead day-to-day communication between agency and partners

  • Determine production requirements and schedule by reviewing client requirements; conferring with heads of cross-functional teams; outlining basic presentation concepts; and coordinating creative activities

  • Ensure all creative is serving to drive and highlight key marketing strategies and goals, and merchandising optimization

  • Proactively report on progress, delays, blockers, and priorities to ensure partners are always aware of status

  • Control for partner business impact, feedback, and timelines to ensure appropriate creative prioritization and effective use of resources

  • Provide clear project direction and maintain a clear strategy to achieve the best outcome for the client within budget and timeline

  • Maintain rigorous documentation and visibility of all project activity for all partners

  • Understand partners’ business goals and help them get there through innovative ideation

  • Partner with appropriate stakeholders to track and report on creative testing

  • Supervise the creation and maintenance of creative marketing calendars, queues, and RACIs for efficiency from concepting through distribution and reporting

  • Periodically report on the condition of stakeholder-agency relationships and plans to improve them

  • Prepare quarterly creative marketing plans for partners that align to business objectives, along with individual campaign plans as needed

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, graphic design, marketing, or related area

  • 3-5+ years experience in professional client-relationship management across matrixed teams, including marketing, analytics, and product teams

  • Agency experience preferred

  • You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

  • You have a demonstrated ability to use data and analysis to make and justify decisions, and track effectiveness of change

  • You’re proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel

  • You have experience working with content management systems, project management tools, and data/analytics

  • You are highly organized, with strong attention to detail

  • Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing

  • You’re pe persuasive, able to sell work and ideas, and respond positively to feedback

  • You have a high strong understanding of creative processes and strategies and can communicate effectively with cross-functional leadership
